• Extracurricular activities included: Member of National Honor Society, Student Council, assistant editor of the Beaver Tales, attended YSU's Governor's Institute and Buckeye Boys' State.
• Honors included: Received Principal's Leadership Award, Presidential Academic Fitness Award, Diploma with Honors in English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, Tandy Technology Scholar Award, Tandy Top 2% of Graduating Class Award, Publications Special Recognition Award, Science Award of Excellence, Outstanding Performance in Advanced Placement Calculus Award, U. S. Air Force Math and Science Award, U. S. Marine Corp Scholastic Excellence Award, Student of the Month, BASIC/Pascal Programing Award, and Outstanding Junior and Senior Awards.
